While his home state doesn’t have an NBA franchise, Jason adopted the Chicago Bulls, much like his distant cousin Barack Obama. Due to several heart related procedures, Jason tries to avoid the strain of fandom.
Fantasy Background
Jason is going on his seventeenth year as a charter member of the veritable JHouse Yahoo fantasy league, having won two titles while losing a shameful fifteen times — a whopping 88% loss rate.

This was the first auction draft for the ORL franchise. After sitting back on the first day and missing out on many marquee players, ORL dug in with an “all bigs” strategy that netted many quality centers— Andre Drummond, Clint Capela, Montrezl Harrell — and then rounded that out with large guards such as Jaylen Brown and Kyle Anderson.
Scouting Report (for ORL, not Jason’s actual basketball skills…)
Jason and Jim don’t put too much trust in projections, unless they show their team in a favorable light. This ORL team has definite strengths up-front while threes and assists probably won’t factor much into their build. ORL also features several up-and-comers in Brown, Miles Bridges, Dwayne Bacon, and Norman Powell. Plus, bounce-back candidates Anderson and Andre Roberson should provide a significant boost to the team, allowing ORL to compete in the other seven non-3PT/AST categories.
